great access to parks and nature areas for weekend strolls

We really appreciated how close we were to Burr Oak Woods Nature Center and the beautiful Blue Springs, making our family strolls enjoyable and scenic, even though our stay was a bit underwhelming due to less engaging staff and a room that didn’t wow us like we hoped.

Unfortunately, we faced some challenges. Requested a quiet room but ended up on the side facing the interstate, resulting in constant traffic noise. The bathroom floor had a sticky feel, which was off-putting, and an attempt by housekeeping to freshen the bathroom with a deodorizer only made the situation feel more unpleasant. Additionally, chirping birds outside our window added to the noise. After mentioning this for five days, the staff promised to investigate but no action was observed during our stay.

This hotel suits me perfectly with its free parking, 24-hour reception, and pet-friendly policy. During my first stay, the staff helped me print documents, which I appreciated. I highly recommend it for a trouble-free stay.

Had a lovely stay with a spacious king room and enjoyed the complimentary breakfast with a nice selection of options like yogurt and freshly made waffles. The indoor pool was a fantastic place to unwind after a long day, and I loved chilling in the lounge area too. The only downside was a bit of noise from outside, but it didn't ruin the experience. 😊

We enjoyed our time with comfy beds and clean facilities. The room had a flat-screen TV, hairdryer, ironing facilities, and a refrigerator. Nice shower and tea/coffee maker too. Loved the indoor pool and fitness center. Breakfast included a variety of items like waffles, eggs, and yogurt that hit the spot.

My children wanted more pool hours for evening swims.

I checked in late one night, and the staff was welcoming. They had all the amenities I needed in my room, like a coffee maker and microwave. The indoor pool was a nice way to unwind after a long day exploring the area.

One of my nights was disturbed by noisy guests in the hallway. I called the front desk for help but felt the response was not satisfactory.

We had a decent stay. The beds were super comfy, and we really appreciated the breakfast bags for on-the-go. Ann at the front desk was a gem. she greeted us at midnight with a smile and a little goodie bag! The only bummer was that the bathroom wasn’t smelling fresh. Still a solid trip overall!

Despite the efforts to maintain a cozy atmosphere, these issues detracted from the overall enjoyment.
